The Dur-Able Claw clamp mount, compatible with all Apple iPhone models, is designed to provide unparalleled viewer comfort during extended iPhone operation and viewing sessions, ruggedized for use in industrial environments, hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation, elderly care and self-care environments.
Multiple points of articulation provide a prone or seated user with an opportunity to easily adjust the iPhone to a comfortable position. The Dur-Able Claw's four ball-and-socket joints are individually adjustable.
The Dur-Able Claw can be clamped to a desk edge, hospital bed, overbed tray table, braked wheelchair, bedframe, countertop or handrail (see specs below).
The Dur-Able Claw mount's components are Made in the USA by RAM Mounting Systems and Kayalu Gear. Components include a RAM X-Grip, RAM Toughclaw, RAM spring-loaded coupler-arms, RAM "B" balls and a stainless steel Kayalu Toughbar. All components are available separately from RAM and Kayalu dealers.
The Dur-Able Claw is capable of withstanding exposure to heat (sunlight, dishwasher), UV and corrosive materials including salt (marine environments). The mount is constructed of stainless steel, aluminum and composite polymer -- not plated steel and ABS plastic used in the manufacture of nearly all alternative mounts.
WARNING: The Dur-Able Claw is designed for use on a stationary surface. The iPhone will vibrate if secured to a moving vehicle, gym equipment, etc. The Dur-Able Claw is capable of managing such forces without damage, but viewing of a cellphone when mounted on a moving or vibrating surface is not recommended.
