When pressure is removed, the dam's foam returns to its original shape - and it will return to that shape every time. Installing the approximately 1.25" high collapsible water retainer is easy. The dam's double sided water resistant tape that runs along the bottom ensures a secure seal while the dam is collapsed. This self-adhesive tape also protects the dam from the build-up of water and shower debris. Please note: that installation of the dam also requires adhesive caulk along its edge and also to secure the finished, end caps.
