BlackBuck 8M - 8 Amps compact laser/LED driver (2nd revision) This driver is designed for use in portable devices powered by li-ion or li-po batteries. Due to its high efficiency, it has a low heat dissipation and does not require an additional heat sink at the top - you need only one heat sink on the bottom side. With an output current of up to 3A, this driver can operate without a heat sink. For best performance and to reduce battery load, I recommend using 3 cells in case the output current is more than 5 amps. To protect your diode from overheating, you can use the built-in overheat protection - an external 10K ntc sensor is included in the kit. This driver also works without a connected ntc sensor, and the sensor input can be used as a interlock input.
