Description

Hyssop is an evergreen shrub native to Europe and the Middle East. The herb has a long history of use dating back thousands of years. Also known as "holy herb", hyssop is referred to in the Old Testament of the Bible several times as a purging herb. Use as seasoning for smoothies, blended fruits drinks, soups, vegetables and other foods. Use to prepare poultices and infused oils for salves, ointments and balms. The powdered herb may also be used to make natural eye shadows.
