Description

Chase Mole, Vole and Gopher Repellent

An easy-to-apply granular form of castor oil, target the senses of moles, gophers, voles, armadillos and other burrowing animals. The castor oil granules penetrate their tunnels and create an unbearable environment to cast out those tenacious burrowing pests from your lawns, gardens and other planting areas.

How Chase Mole Granule Works

The special proprietary ingredients penetrate quickly and deep into the soil where burrowing animals live and feed, creating an unbearable environment for underground burrowing rodents to stay and force them to leave the property and seek out other places to live.

Environmentally Friendly Pest Control

This repellent is made of 19.5% castor oil and 76% ground-up corn cobs, also contains a small amount of surfactant (soap) to help the castor oil mix with water and penetrate into the ground. It is biodegradable and not harmful to humans, pets, birds, or plants.

Directions for Use

Apply when tunnels or cone shaped mounds appear in soil from early spring to late fall. Apply evenly by hand, or use either a broadcast or drop spreader. The correct application rate, regardless of method, is one pound per 1,000 square feet.

Treating Large Areas

The strategy that has proved to be effective is to "move" the moles in the direction you'd like them to exit your property. To accomplish this, apply Chase Granules to one third of the area to be treated, beginning with the one furthest from the direction you want them to leave. If you want pests to move from your flower garden toward a fence, begin at the garden. Then (at one or two day intervals), apply the product to the other areas closer to the fence, ending with the one nearest to it. This approach is particularly effective when the area to be treated is larger than 100 feet by 100 feet.
