Thanks to her talent and her strength of character, she has become a pioneer of the cinema and in the space of a decade, a director and producer of Gaumont Studios. She invented the fiction cinema for the first time with actors on camera. In 1910, Alice Guy founded with her husband Herbert Blac, film studios of The Solax Company in Fort Lee, New Jersey.
