It can be mounted in a door jamb in a mounting hole 2.75 x 1.25 x 2 inches (L x W x D). (L is length, the vertical distance from the top of the mounting hole to the bottom; W is width, the horizontal distance from the front of the mounting hole to the back; D is depth, the horizontal distance from the edge of the door jamb to the bottommost depth of the mounting hole.) It consists of a pushbutton switch mounted inside a metal box with a cover plate and built-in 6" wire leads for an electrical connection, and comes with mounting hardware, and is Underwriter's Laboratory (UL) listed and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certified for quality assurance.
